Casa Del Sole in Matera is a gem nestled within the historic Sassi stone houses. The fully equipped apartments offer a cozy retreat, with some rooms featuring a relaxing seating area. The breakfast at the nearby café was a delightful start to the day, perfectly setting the tone for exploration. My stay was made exceptional by the accommodating staff and the charming decor that exuded a sense of clean design and attention to detail. The location was ideal for sightseeing, with Matera Cathedral just a 10-minute walk away. Francesca, the wonderful host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing assistance with tours and recommendations. The room, with its private entrance and beautiful tile floors, felt like a luxurious sanctuary after a day of exploring the town.From the arched ceilings in the apartment to the immaculate housekeeping and well-equipped kitchenette, Casa Del Sole truly exceeded expectations. The proximity to MUSMA Museum and the option for private parking nearby added convenient touches to the overall experience.For a truly memorable stay in Matera, Casa Del Sole is the perfect choice, offering a blend of comfort, style, and personalized service that caters to every need.
